| Okay... I'd like to get a timeline up on here. Have they listed the times online yet? I know last I checked they did not. Timeline to see who is going to what panel and if any overlap so we can really plan our days out.
PRICE: Hotel total: $417 @ 5 in room: $83.40 per person
In Room: Alex, Brandy, Jake, Jerry, and Myself
Schedule: tba

| I guess I'll also use this space for money concerns.
The hotel is $139 per night, so for 3 nights, that's $417. Split amongst 5 people (at this point: me, Brandy, Jake, Tina, & Jerry), that's $83.40 per person. Jake, you're already taken care of. And Tina, you can take whatever we owed you for the King's Island trip out of your price...if we owed you something. I'm still not clear on that.
If anyone else decides to go, I would still be open for more people. And if we get more people, I'll update everyone on the price.
I don't see anything as far as panels yet. It may not be for another week. But we didn't have much trouble last year with going to panels we wanted to go to. I mean, the only problem we had was waking up for the morning ones, but since we'll be so close to the convention, it shouldn't be a problem this year.

| ... It should STILL be a problem this year... knowing how I sleep. But last year Nimoy didnt show up anyways. And yeah, just for one ticket, the other was free. ^.^ it was 24.99. Thats 58.41 I'll owe you. Double check me tho because I've been out of it all day. And I still need to buy my ticket. plah. | |

| You got the right price. And like I said, if anyone is added later, I'll update everyone on the new price for the hotel.
As far as panels go, I definitely want to make it to the Venture Bros. one this year, and the MST3K one. I also assume there will be a Futurama panel, since a few of the voice actors are there. And I would say there may be a Space Ghost: Coast to Coast panel, or the voice actors for that show will be a part of the Adult Swim panel, since the voice of Zorak and Moltar was already confirmed. And today I saw that the voice of Space Ghost was confirmed as well. But as long as I see the Venture Bros. panel and get a book signed by Kevin Murphy, I will be good.

| Venture Bros. and MST3K for sure. Space Ghost would be cool, I couldn't care less about seeing the Futurama panel though. MST3k is top priority for me of course. | |

| I'm going to try and get us there as early on Friday as possible, so we can enjoy more of the con than last year. Last year, we didn't get our temporary passes until 11pm. And with our hotel being very close, that means it will be easier to stay later and party. | |

| I'm posting here just in case I forget to tell Brandy later, but David Mack, the creator/writer/artist for Kabuki, is going to be at Dragon*Con.
And Summer Glau. That's pretty awesome.

| Brandy and I are okay with it. Brandy suggested making him a henchman costume so he won't be the only "normal" one in the group. This does mean we'll probably have to take two cars, though. 5 people I could reason into one vehicle, but not 6. | |

| I told Brandy I'm cool with taking my car if necessary. I just had it mainteneced, so we should be good there. Also, Tina, what does your brother look like? Is he more a Speedy, Scott Hall, or 2-99? | |

| hummm... less of a speedy but not a scott hall. More of a random 2-99 type of guy.
Also what time would we be leaving on friday? I know you said something about working half a day or something like that alex?

| I should be fine to miss the whole day. Since I have to cover for Matthew during his vacation, he's covering for me on mine. I would like to leave as early as possible so we can enjoy the convention on Friday. I don't want to get to Dragon*Con at 10pm like last year. | |

| I have two classes Friday, hopefully there won't be anything important going on so I can skip. If my schedule stays the same then I would only need to get off Sunday night. I might can set it up where I work Thursday night 1 - 5, then after my shift I could head to Versailles and get there around 6:30 and then we can head out. | |

| Here are the new prices if Tina's brother joins us:
$417/6 people = $69.50 per person. And just to make sure I don't overdraw from the bank, I would like to have the money before we go. Preferably by September 1st so I have time to get it in the bank.
And for Tina, it's $44.51 because of the King's Island ticket. And you can make that $44.50 if you want. I don't really care about that penny.

| you'll get that damn penny. Im going to double check with my brother. The only problem is he HAS to work a half day on friday and would not leave from work (in winchester) till 11 or 12pm on friday. I could wait on him and we drive down together, but we would need someone to be at the hotel late on friday to let us unpack and the like. so Im going to check and see if he still wants to go and sure it up tonight. | |

| That's fine. And I wouldn't mind waiting at the hotel for a bit if that's the case. The hotel is a 15 minute walk from the con, it's really no big deal. Not like last year where we were further away. | |

| pocket guide is now available! Please browse and post times/dates of panels you would like to attend so that we can come up with a master list. This way we will know when we need to be at the hotel, what costumes we should be in, if we need to change and of course the most important issue... so Brandy and I dont get stuck in line with weirdos alone. edit: now with the link I forgot! | I've already spotted the only panel I cannot miss. The MST3K/Cinematic Titanic event at 8:30pm. It's scheduled for 5 1/2 hours, so you KNOW they're going to be riffing a movie! I mean, what else could take that long?
I haven't looked at Saturday or Sunday yet, so whenever the Venture Bros. panel is, I wouldn't mind going to that one, too. But MST3K is the only one I absolutely want to go to.
edit: Actually, it's looking to be a very MST3K Dragon*Con this year, so I may end up going to the 11:30am Saturday morning one as well, because it has the full cast and is the most likely panel to have a signing afterwards. And I've got to get my Kevin Murphy book signed.

| And like I did when I posted here to tell Brandy about David Mack being a guest, I'm also posting when his panel is during the weekend. It is Friday at 2:30 p.m. I believe we will be able to make it. If we leave at 5 or 6am, we should be getting to the hotel around noon or 1pm. That should give us time to check in and make it to the convention to get passes. And if everyone else wants to go back to the hotel to get into costume, Brandy and I could go to that panel and meet up with everyone later. But it's probably too early to plan for that, so we'll play it by ear. | |
