| Now that Dragon*Con is over and fun was had, let's discuss OhayoCon plans. And while I'm thinking of it: Jake, you needed a Gurren costume, and I don't know why we didn't think of this characters, but what about Rossiu? You could be post-time skip and be the asshole Rossiu, or pre-time skip and be the good guy Rossiu. But if you were post-time skip, maybe we could fashion a Lord Genome head-in-a-jar for you to carry around! | |

| I'm looking forward to OhayoCon.
Rossiu huh? Him, Lordgenome, and the Anti-Spiral are about the only good characters left. The pre-time skip is a kid, so I doubt I could pull it off. The post-time skip is probably too much of a pretty boy, but I could give it a shot. I'd have to wear a wig though, no way in hell I'm letting my hair grow that long. I could do the Anti-Spiral, its just a matter of if I'm willing to wear spandex or not. I don't think I could pull Lordgenome off, I'd need to be taller and more muscular.
I'm also debating on a Legend of Zelda costume. Unlike the Gurren Lagann one I have tons of options on this one.

| Okay, Im looking into booking the hotel this time for Ohayocon. I need to know who will be rooming with us or exactly how many will be in one room. If we do a two bed room I say four to five people. If they dont mind sleeping on the floor then five to six. So far I know that Heather, Myself, Brandy, Alex, and Jake will be rooming all together. Correct? I know James and co have their own plans. (Right?) Brandy is your sister going and if so is your other sister planning on it? And is Rachel for sure coming? | |

| I can sleep on the floor if I need to, obviously a bed is preferred but I don't mind. | |

| I do not actually have any plans made for O-yaya con, besides wanting to go. Marshall is unsure if he will have to work that weekend/what his funds situation might be since he has to start saving up for a house and wedding I know I think I want to get a hotel room there, or the hotel immediately next door, since it has its own built in garage that is cheaper. | |

| Okay, so looks like we'll be getting two rooms then. It might be easier if one person books two rooms and then the others pay back. Do we want four to a room? So I'll include you in then James.(if thats okay)
List that I know of for sure: 1. Heather 2. Myself 3. Brandy 4. Alex 5.Jake 6.James
People who MAY be going as of now: 1.Rachel 2. Alexis 3. Laken (Brandy is that how she spells her name?)
If we get a hotel at the main place at the advertised price of Oyahocon (109 a night) with just three people in the room (the for sure list) at 2 rooms that would be 654 total together for three nights without tax. each individual would only have to pay 109. Basically for one night. Not bad really. However if we have say two more people (two to a bed) decide to join us then that would be 82 (technically 81 and some change but I round up) per person. Not a big jump. Next paycheck Heather and I may go ahead and get two rooms depending on our plans.

Rach confirmed tonight. That means we need to book definitely for two rooms with two beds each. We'll look into pricing this week and probably book around Friday? possibly.

| I reserved the rooms in the official con hotel, the Hyatt Regency Columbus this morning, 2 beds in each room, and they should be nearby each other. I reserved them for Friday and Saturday night, I assume on Sunday evening we would be heading back. So yay! We are in the official hotel! | |

| Okay, I know there are some concerns popping up about Ohayocon. Heather brought up costumes. Three group costumes may be pushing it. So let's figure out what is doable. And remember, we can have individual costumes and also bring back costumes. I wanted to bring back my Team Fortress 2 Spy at some point, maybe for this Ohayocon, I'm not sure. But let's hash out what's going on with costumes.
My greatest concern right now about Ohayocon is having an exact number of people definitely going, as well as how we are going to transport everyone. I'm already sure we'll have to take 2 cars, just for the amount of people. But what we may not be considering is luggage. We packed the Taurus completely full with four people and luggage. And speaking for myself, I know my costumes will be more complex, as well as more prop-heavy, and packing one bag may not be possible this time around. I say we get definite numbers and a better idea of luggage.

| sounds good. Also... umm.. we should probably have some type of note for brandy's sisters since they are underage just in case because transporting minors across state lines without parental approval is a felony, if I remember correctly. You never know... and knowing how cons are it might be good to have something like that.
As far as the costumes... yeah. Three is ambitious. Im still daunted by Midna which is probably what is killing me from even starting. I always fret and fret over stuff before finally starting on things. I say we plan on making at most two outfits each. My vote for Zelda and probably Ghibli as it would be least complicated. If people have time to work on Gurren then we can do individual or a smaller group.... But concentrate on first Zelda, then move to your Ghibli and then finally to Gurren. I'd rather have one fine tuned ensemble than a messy three.

| I'll take Ashitaka over Rossiu anyday, so I agree Ghibli over Gurren. I need Ashitaka's badassness to counterbalance Tingle. | |

| Pack everyone as tight as you can, and then once you get to Cincy, we can further break it down into 3 cars, I'll take my car and some people. | |

| I agree with the studio Ghibli assessment, since I've already started buying fabric and doing sketches. I can fit 4-5 in my car and the trunk is amazing for luggage. I think that should be enough, I think you guys can fit 4-5 in your car too. Here's a tip I learned from Dragon*Con: I'm going to be packing less "normal clothes" because each day I was in costume all day and never needed them, so I ended up packing way more than I needed. | |

| I'm still trying to figure out what costumes I am going to take. I know I am going to have: -Link-hopefully with longer tunic -Umbrella Security Services Officer- because I really like the costume but don't have too many places to wear it -Joker Crew Henchman, Nurse variant to go with Dr. Joker I do kind of want to bring Caboose, as he would be a good fit and many people would recognize I was Caboose and not the MAster Chief or "Iron Man" , but that armor does not pack up small at all. | |
