| The last time I made a thread for a Pizza Club meeting, it was rather successful. So let's do it again this time. What do we want to do, what do we want to eat, what's going on?
I have no personal preference, but maybe we should plan more with costumes and Ohayocon, because it's really not that far away. And let's try to continue one of our many projects, like mc OMG or riffing. And we could bring back the card game again, but this time use Jake's suggestion of using smaller decks. I like to actually finish games, and not be up at 2am and not finish a full game.

| Smaller decks for sure. I'd like for us to at least figure out for sure what movie we want to riff, cause I'm really wanting to do that eventually. | |

| anime?
Also, having started NONE of my cosplay outfits yet... I second this... Although I think what is holding me up more is the daunting-ness of midna. Its probably a little more in the expert sewing range for what i sketched out... and Im not sure if I want to deal with the body paint. I was looking into a achohol based stuff that stays on even if you are sweating/rubbed against something and so forth... pretty penny and it seems kinda hard to get on/off without any help. Im perfectly willing to do body paint .. I think Im going to go ahead and work on her cape and see what I can do about the inner outfit (which is what all my anxiety is coming from.... >.>

| My friend "Scott Maul" used Alcohol based paint for his Shirtless Darth Maul at Dragon*Con this year. Before he did the full torso, he did a test at home where he put the alcohol based makeup on his arm and then slept in it, and none rubbed off, but wiped off right away with the paint remover that comes with it. If the alcohol based paint it out of your price range (but is apparently very well worth it,) the regular paint I have seen most recommended is Ben Nye: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]Apparently they also sell a sealer for their paints, and it has been recommended that you spray a layer of Final Seal on all areas you're applying make up to, apply make up, then spray Final Seal again. | |

| yeah I was reading about the ben nye stuff. Which did your friend use of the alcohol based? There were three I was looking up but I couldnt find much info on one of them. I narrowed it down to two that I found= PAX and ...cant remember the name of it right now... one was higher than the other. Body parts I would have to cover with it are one whole leg, stomach +part of back, sides, hands, shoulders/neck, and face. I heard some really good things about PAX but a few people were complaining about it being difficult to get off. ?? Maybe just due to inexperience with dealing with it? I dont think any of it would be over my budget since I have some time to save up and the like.
edit: my english is horrid today...please excuse any garble.

| Okay, Scott used Reel Creations Reel Tattoo line for airbrush, although apparently you do not have to use an airbrush, you can apply it with makeup sponges and the like: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]Probably one of these: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]And here are the color charts: [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] | |

| awesome considering that isnt even one I had heard about. Good, because I dont have an airbrush. I'll look it over. I know I need to mix a fairly good quantity of her grayish blue (on the whitish side). If this is like PAX then when you mix it and forget it/dont leave it in a good airtight container it will harden into a 'brick' which is easily rehydrate with more alcohol. I think I'll get a bit and then if it turns out well/ see how I like it I'll buy my actual quantity... looking at the color charts it looks like I'll need to mix up reel gray and vein. Also vein might be the right color for her leg markings as well. | |

| Riffing an anime? That's fine, do you have any particular anime in mind? | |

Do you own it? I know there is an abridged version of Naruto, but I'm not sure if anyone has riffed it before.

| There is absolutely no way I could stomach watching Evangelion the amount of times that would be required to riff it. Evangelion isn't one of those shows that is so bad its good, its just bad. | |
