Pizza Club Possible Meeting 10/9-10/10/09

Let's go ahead and get this started, because we need to take action!

Last week wasn't too bad, but what did we do? Jake tried on pants. We need more excitement! More action! More pants?! So this is what we will do.

Friday, October 9th, if we decide to meet this weekend, we are starting on riffing Dragonball Evolution. We will at least watch it once again to write more jokes. We won't have a finished riff product, but we'll have progress. Of course, if we all need a break from Pizza Club this weekend, that's cool, too.

The other idea, and this one will happen Pizza Club or not, will happen on Saturday, October 10th. Myself, Brandy, and Jake will be going to see Zombieland. Jake has seen it and loved it, so I'm sure it will be fun. We will be eating lunch/dinner either before, after, or during the movie (depending on time of movie or if we see it at Movie Tavern). And we haven't done anything outside of the apartment since Dragon*Con. So let's not be shut-ins, rollin' and trollin' on 4chan. Let's go out in public, kicking reason to the curb and fighting the "powah"!

Those are my ideas and thoughts. Discuss.

That's cool. I know it's tough for you since you're way up in Cincinnati. Maybe once we move to Versailles, that might be more doable for meetings. But we'll try to do some kind of Halloween shin-dig, so you can come down and show off the costumes. And you know you're always welcome to crash at our place if you need to, wherever that place may be.

I was actually going to say that on October 24th, we were going to go to the Ohio Renaissance Festival, and then Marshall is throwing a Halloween party in C-Bus with plenty of space for people to set up tents to crash.

Make another topic for this so you can add info, because these are both great ideas.

That sounds awesome- I'm always up for doing productive things because I'm crazy that way, especially if I have some coffee. If we do Pizza Club at our place, we'll have my computer right there and plenty of rooms to set up our "sound studio" so everyone won't have to be completely quiet, which has been a lot harder than it sounds (<ha ha, get it?)

Oh, and we need to have a coming to Jesus meeting about how many group costumes we can get done by Ohayocon. I'm sewing my best (nearly 15+ hours every weekend) but I'm not sure if I'll be able to get the other costumes besides Legend of Zelda ready in time. I'll do my best though! But I will have them all ready by Dragon*Con 2010.

And we have crash space for people here too. And Sprocket!

yeah... sounds good. um... yeah. Also tell us when /make a new thread when you need help moving or whatnot. Having multiple cars do lugging of stuffs is always good.

as for this week... sounds peachy to me.

I think we can all agree on being more productive. Personally I've gotten bored a few times the last couple of meetings, not for long mind you, but times when everyone else was doing something and I was just kind of sitting there, or when I was wanting to do something and everyone else was kind of sitting there. And I'm dieing to riff a movie, so sounds great to me.

Zombieland is really good, you guys will all love it.

Awesome, awesome. Then I guess Pizza Club on Friday will be at the Versailles meeting area, with some riffing definitely on schedule. Saturday will be Zombieland, and I will let you guys know the showtime and such later once I discover them myself.

As far as moving, I am calling places tomorrow on my lunch, will hopefully look at said places on Wednesday or Thursday when I have time off, and will hopefully have a location by the end of the week/beginning of next week. Hopefully.

And I agree with Heather about costumes, especially since every else has not even started. I would also like to point out that we also need to figure out transportation for Ohayocon, but I'll post my feelings on that in the Ohayocon thread.

Okay, Friday. I may have some trouble picking you up, Jake. I'm looking at two apartments on Friday, one at noon and one around 4pm, so I'll see what I can do. I may go in to work a little on Thursday so I can leave earlier on Friday. I've got big ads this week, so I definitely need to put in some hours. I think that may be what I'll do, but I'll let you know what's what tomorrow concerning picking you up for Pizza Club.

Okay, Saturday. I say either dinner then Zombieland or dinner AND Zombieland. We could do Movie Tavern. My only problem with Movie Tavern is that dinner is the time to hang out, and while I love Movie Tavern, you can't talk during dinner because of the movie. But I definitely love Movie Tavern...I'm conflicted. Also, do you guys want to hit a matinee or evening showtime? I vote matinee because it's cheaper, but if we do Movie Tavern, their tickets are cheap.

Matinee is my pick, could use to save some money.

About picking me up, I can always drive there myself, I just wouldn't know how to get there.

Well, unless you want to drive, I have two other options. One is that I can try to get the second apartment meeting pushed a little earlier, that way I can get back to Richmond to pick up you and Sprocket, then head back up to Lexington to pick up Brandy. See, Sprocket is the only thing I'm worried about with this. I can't just leave her in Richmond all day and night. So I'll try to go with this option. If not, we could also make Saturday an All Day Pizza Club Fun Day; see the movie, eat, then riff Dragonball and have the meeting.

And matinee it is.

I can watch sprocket here. I mean, I dont work on friday. You could just bring her here when you go to work tomorrow. Or when ever you feel like it. Also I say matinee.
