Finally got an email from the Anthropology dept. at EKU about the t-shirt design. Doesn't really sound like they want to pay me, but it's portfolio work that isn't the usual newspaper ads. Should be fun. And even if I don't get cash money for it, I'm going to at least make them give me a t-shirt.

Yeah I knew that they were going to email you soon (I talked to Leann about it yesterday). You kind of told me that you didn't expect to get paid, so that's what I hinted to them. Plus I'll be buying one, so I can say that I'm wearing an "Alex Robinson" design.

HahahahahahahAhAHAhHAHAHAhAHHAHAha.

They seriously came up to me towards the end of the day and did the whole, "we're telling you you're working next week but trying to make it look like we're asking if you want to" thing. Aparently they scrounged up enough money in the budget for "1 to 3 more days" of the temps working. I responded that it was my last day, like they had told me as recently as yesterday at 3:00, handed them my badge, and left.

They all fell for it, and are continuing to fall for it. It's going to be almost heart breaking to have to tell everyone that we're not actually going to screening the Ohio Garrison documentary at CV... Laughing

I think that was the longest I actually have had an April Fool's Day joke go without someone who realized it was a joke calling me out on it and ruining it for other people. Even longer than the time I had people convinced I spent 3 hours in the holding cell of the Kentucky State Police Substation on EKU's campus after I tried to get finger printed for a Forensics Assignment.

Seriously, he didn't even try to correct any of the inaccuracies in my costume, put in the right gun, remove the gap between the ab and chest plate, add the neck ring to the helmet, heck, if you look there is even an out of place rectangular protrusion on the chest plate. That is my volunteer pass hanging behind the chest plate the fell down into the gap. And he put that in the picture. Didn't bother to erase it.

So, I will send you a bunch of pictures of me in costume, you trace them, and then apply to Marvel and Lucas Film to be artists.

I love this Dr Who coat entirely too much. I am actually glad the temperature dropped rather drastically the past two days, just so I have a chance to actually wear it around.
