Maybe the TARDIS exploding is the cause of the Mayan calendars stopping in 2012. History does not exist after 2012, which is why the calendar does not go any further, and the TARDIS exploding causes time to not exist. So there...that's my 2012 theory now.

Actually the Mayan calender doesnt stop. There is just a great cataclysmic event that destroys the world but the fact that it continues signifies that some people do manage to exist. I would suggest that it might be Depp. mwhahahaha

... last I looked the handle looked like some old fashioned swords, cudels, flashlights and a few other weapons prior to the film. are you serious? yeah its a lazor but damn George, dont you have enough money?

I may be with Lucas on this one, because that laser can cause skin cancer, and I would rather not let people who have $200 bucks lying around decide whether or not to burn and radiate my skin. Sure, the article says to added safety features, but safety features that sound like they can be easily removed.
