As for me I haven't raged today, although I wasn't too happy about being stuck in class while the UK game was on.

Yeah, mathew pits people against each other to get what he wants oooorrrr if they dont do something he wants them to do. So Heather used to use this to her advantage and sneakily get him to turn the office against each other or so forth. And Steve wont help. You should note that it pisses mathew off when you take Kate's side.


Girl at work was wearing skinny jeans... lets just say muffin top is a understatement... more like well you know what the mushroom cloud looks like? well it looks like her skinny jeans threw up her top half. not to mention the five inches of the top of the skinny jeans you couldnt see because her flap was hanging over it... no shirt hiding it.. I think security was too scared to make her go home and change.

what makes me rage this morning? two more days of being off before back to work. fuuuuuuu what happened to vacations?

Yeah, I think it's pretty funny when Mathew starts throwing middle fingers everywhere for absolutely no reason. And it apparently pisses him off to here how nice he is, like when he places a birthday ad for a fellow co-worker, or puts in a good word for me at the liquor store. I don't know why he wants this "bad-ass, I hate everyone" persona, because it's definitely not him. It's an act. And that makes me laugh.

When I walked in the door today at work, I wasn't expecting to spend 11 hours in the the 93 degree room, set at 50% humidity, observing the people riding the exercise bikes and noting how much they sweat and collecting said sweat!

But I did!

And, I get to do it tomorrow, for more people!

My computer already switched times when it isn't supposed to do it yet. More annoying than rage worthy, but whatever.

Not being able to find a fork this morning had me close to rage. I have no clue what happened to that box, because we had it opened last night!

No internet is definitely making me rage. I'm missing out on all of the Chris-chan action. And it doesn't seem like something that is "work appropriate", so I'm afraid to watch it at work.

I miss Sprocket, too.

And I have to collect sweat from...okay, I don't have to do that. I think Cadet has us all beat. But isn't today supposed to be your last day?

Today was my last day, and no matter how they tried to beg, guilt trip, tempt, or bully me into staying, I was like, "Helllllll nooooo, sooooooooon."

Well, then you can collect unemployment experience points. And just like the experience points in a video game, they don't really matter in real life.

Speaking of rage, though, today has been a nasty one. Kate's back. Last week was wonderful. No problems occurred, all the ads went out with no issues. I actually had time on Tuesday to spare after handling 56 ads. Come in Monday, and do I get any "good jobs" or "well dones"? No. Just lectures on stupid things, like procedures that I clearly followed but Kate feels needs to be explained anyway. And apparently she has bitched and whined to the sales team, because Kate states that the sales team doesn't want me to log ads anymore. If I don't log the ads on Friday, when it's just me here, I'll forget ads and lose track. So I do really well in my job and I'm told that I'm not allowed to over-achieve anymore. Shame they don't know me well, because I'm a hard worker, and if I run out of work, I'm doing someone else's work.

This has really been the first day of the job where I just wanted to go home. I think we need some kind of team meeting, because I don't like this "Kate Runs Everything" deal that's going on, especially since she's a co-worker and not a manager or superior.

That's brutal. I think you need to have a heart to heart with Steve. A lot of times he genuinely doesn't know or chooses to look over things that you think would be obvious (like the sales team and Kate bitching at you from the next room) or because he doesn't think they don't bother you because you haven't said anything. Tell Steve about not being able to log things in, especially on Friday. That can cause a lot of confusion because if you have ads in your basket at the end of the day Friday (or even if you put them in Kate's basket when you got them halfway done) and none of those are logged in, Kate is going to end up doing one of your ads or one isn't going to get logged in. And forget putting notes on anything- her blind ass won't see them and she'll just get huffy if she does.

I would tell Steve "The sales team and Kate have decided that I'm not supposed to put any ads on the log anymore, even on Friday. I feel this can lead to a lot of confusion that I would like to avoid. Also, I would like to be a team player and a hard worker- if there is work to do, I'm going to do it. I get yelled at if I try to be helpful, and it's like some people aren't really giving me a chance to show that I'm reliable. They explain procedure to me again and again even when I do it right and it makes me feel like I am doing things wrong. I would like to know what you think I should do."

I was going to talk to Steve today, but then I had to go home because the cable man was coming by. He even called early and wanted to know if I would mind getting the cabled installed early. So at noon, I met him at the new place, and after 40 minutes, the TV cable was installed with no problem, but it turns out there was a problem with internet cable. It took another cable guy coming over, as well as 2 1/2 hours, but we now have internet. But that's 2/12 hours of work I lost. That's money I lost. And by the time I got back to work, I was more mad at Time Warner than Kate, so I'll save that talk with Steve until tomorrow. It's rage week for me, I swear.

And I miss your laptop, too, Cadet.

I'm raging at myself right now...

More and more recently the only emotion the sight of a an attractive girl has served to stir in me is a rather deep feeling of anger and resentment.

Although, I might have found a solution for my laptop. For like $20, you can get this kit thing that transforms a laptop's hard drive into a portable USB drive. Just have to figure out the best and correct way to remove my hard drive.

Ah but you have internet! Yeah talk to Steve. I'm sorry it's sucking, I guess when I was there I concentrated on forming fake alliances then turning my enemies against one another. Yes... I am a sith. I am raging at being sick taking two days that I have to make up out of my work schedule. Now I will probably have to work every Saturday this month... eh!

I absolutely hate office politics. I just want to work. I don't want to pander to an incompetent co-worker just to make people happy. I also don't like to complain, so that's making it tough to go talk to Steve. I do have an idea to help keep things organized, though. I wanted to provide something constructive before I just complain. That way it looks like I want to help rather than just cause trouble.
