I didn't talk to Steve today. Turns out I'm not the only one pissed at Kate. Margie and Mary King (the sales team) also don't like they way she's doing things. They're planning a big sit-down meeting with just about everyone in January. They want to wait until the holidays pass. But I told them about what happened, and Margie loved my idea to have a master log of ads as well as separate logs for myself and Kate.

Oh, and here's what Kate's doing behind my back. Mary King, she's on my team, she's got my back. But Kate was complaining to Nancy (lady in charge of money, for those who don't know) that Mary King was having me write out the insertion orders; a job that is solely the front desk and sales team. Just so happens that Mary King was still in the building, so Nancy pulled her into her office and asked if I had written out the insertion orders for certain ads. Mary King, of course, said no because obviously I didn't. Then Kate said "well, those aren't good examples". That bitch is going down, and it's not just Mathew and I that have problems with her.

But we got off track from other rages. Targo, why did you rage at yourself? And Cadet, now that you have your porn folders back, you can at least look at internet ladies without anger, because they're showing you their boobies just for you! And you seem to have luck with the ladies at Cons, so maybe you'll find a tolerable weeaboo that finds Link sexy. What am I saying...tolerable weeaboo? Is that an oxymoron? But you'll find someone.

That's why I don't engage in Office Politics. There were plenty both at the Law Firm and at Hilltop, but when it would come up, I would just go ninja and be unnoticeable, just doing my job and dropping off my finished work with people without drawing attention to myself.

I would love to do that, Cadet, but it's tough when there are only a handful of people there. And the one that pisses you off the most sits right next to you. I just want to design ads, that's all. If you stop me from designing ads in an efficient manner, that's when I get upset. But I could care less if you want to start some trouble, just don't mess with my work.

One, two bad news punch for me today.

Bad enough I spent all morning scrambling to fill out paperwork for a possible job that would have started tomorrow, that I got the call for out of the blue this morning. I got the paperwork submitted before the noon deadline, and then had to sit around and wait so I would not miss the call when they called me back, putting off all my plans and errands for the day. Then I get the call, that even though they called me after seeing my resume on career builder, that they decided that I did not have enough experience for them.

Hoping to bolster my spirits I called the Forensics job in Columbus to make my biweekly "any news?" call, and was told they have made their decision, and I will be getting my "close out" letter shortly.

I don't think "close out" means I got that job

"Close out" sounds like they're selling you for a low, low discount. Sorry to hear about the job misfortune. I'm currently looking for more employment, too, which hopefully I can get the part-time position at the library, and then successfully assimilate Heather's past job experience into my own.

Nothing made me rage today...except maybe how I'm getting less and less hours at the paper, which means less and less money.

So we never got a call yesterday from best buy on delivery times. No prob, since I know places like this forget or it gets suffled. So Heather calls on her lunch. Appreantly our order has been canceled. But wait the money has already been taken out of my account, THEN they say they just didnt order it and the delivery was canceled. WTF THE MONEY WAS TAKEN OUT OF MY ACCOUNT AND HAS NOT BEEN REFUNDED. sO IN THE END IT WAS APPARENTLY A MISTAKE OF WHO EVER CHECKED US OUT. FUNNY THE RECEIT SAYS 'DELIVERY ON"YADDA YADDA, the price, and the reference number, no refund to my account and I know for a fact I didnt call and cancel. So they have one in stock on the nicholasville road one. Funny thing is that we went there first and they said they do not have ANY in stock. so we would have to order it. We went to hamburg one because it is closer to our place and delivery would only cost 30 instead of 60+ due to the distance of the one on nicholasville rd one. FUUCK. Im so pissed. I just want to chuck stuff around the house. Seriously.

SERIOUSLY. And not only that I somehow know its going to be the floor model, and we wont get the hose I paid 30 for to be installed with it, and Im going to have to fight over that too. Im gonna totally tear something up right now or something. We need to wash cloths, and I took money out of savings for this thing. Imma going to hurt someone.
