What makes you rage today?

I have a book test tomorrow over a book I forgot to buy... my fault completely but still sucks. I personally need that snow to continue, but understand if you guys all hope that isn't the case.

Yeah...not really enjoying the snow. The roads have been worse than today, but they were still bad. Sorry I can't really sympathize with everyone who doesn't have to be out and about.

Yeah I'm not really enjoying it either, although I did get off work today. (whew!) I really, really don't want to go in tomorrow, but we are going crazy here cooped up.

Trust me, at the end of the day, I would much rather be working a real steady job than this, "you have no idea when, where, or if you will be working week to week" temp stuff. I am all to aware of the fact that when I am not working, I am not making money.

I am just counting my lucky stars they decided last week to shut down the line for the part replacements this week so it just so happens to coincide with the snowpocalpyse round two. That is a bit of good luck on my part, even if it means this is also a week without a paycheck. But its just the nature of temp work.

Hey I did say I sympathize with the anti-snow people. And maybe I shouldn't post anymore, I don't think its possible for me to not be sarcastic even on a message board.

Okay, this is rage-worthy. I'm looking at the possibility of not being paid this week. Our treasurer and lady in charge of pay has not come in this week. So unless she can get payroll done Wednesday morning (if she comes in then), I'm going to be paid either late or not at all this week. Not. Good.

Also, just saw a report concerning an audit of the US Census spending, which was the job I was going to apply to to make some extra money. Apparently they have wasted millions so far, and the real big push in operation isn't until March. So...now I don't know if they'll actually hire more people or not. Of course, I may just be stressing myself out, since most of the waste was from people getting paid a week for training and then leaving before actual work started or after one day of work, so that means they'll still need more people. And it is the government, which is very good at throwing money at something that will obviously waste tax-payer dollars. Still, I did not like seeing that bit of news this morning when I go in for the interview/test on Thursday.

Everything should be good. False alarm. Nancy showed up after lunch, so I should be paid tomorrow.

I'll say. Usually when that happens Whit will try to get checks out *although I think there was one week when she was sick we got paid late. Don't they have a better contingency plan?!

This is only rage worthy is you are Alex... because that sick day I used? well they gave it back to me because everyone who was late, left early, or was absent for the full shift was excused! SWEET. now... hate me.

I saw the comments I'm guessing you were referring to on facebook, does look creepy.

...I uh, Didn't get the Job with Hamilton County.

They told me who got it. It's a girl who just graduated EKU in December, and does not live in Cincinnati.

The whole big thing they kept talking about was that they wanted someone who they knew would stay in Cincy and not leave, they really wanted someone local.

I'm at a loss for words honestly right now.

I'm strongly considering applying for a year long internship to a lab in Germany, but, just don't have any motivation to do anything right now.

Oh man, you should definitely go for it. It'd be awesome to live in Germany for a year in my opinion.

that blows james... but I think you should try to go the germany route. sounds exciting and will add to your resume if anything, you can see the world.

James...I'm sorry. That really sucks. It's even worse that they told you who they hired, and they were worse than you. The job hunt makes no sense whatsoever.

But if you go for the lab job in Germany, just make sure you don't end up being a test subject. Just saying...secret Nazi lab.

0.- I dont know weither to laugh or cry. I was in the bathroom in and out all day. although not the worse case.

My alarm didn't go off today so I overslept and missed my first midterm. Luckily I get to make it up and take it tomorrow, but now I have to wake up early.

So I overdrew. With national city it wouldnt really be that bad since they post it all online where and stuff... well since it was taken over by pnc it didnt show I was overdrafted and that I still had 50 positive, so I got gas. Apparently I over drafted then even though I was positive 16 then the reel creations finally posted (2 months? seriously?) and that charged me an over draft) and apparently two more charges for overdraft from stuff showing that had gone through two days ago with my positive balance got over draft fees?! wtf? each overdraft got an aossociating fee of 25 dollars! 4x25= $100 in overdraft charges. okay.. Im not kosher with this since it posted that I actually only had one overdraft charge.
