What makes you rage today?

Damn, well you beat me today. You've got to get that cleared up quick. Find whatever email address you can on their website and tell them the problem. Even if they already know there's an issue, they'll fix it a lot faster if they get constant emails about it. And talk to your advisor. Even though he hasn't helped you much, it IS his job to fix this problem as your advisor. If he doesn't, go over his head.

Or you can hope it was just a mistake in the system, seeing as it's a new system. But this sounds like something that could screw you over, so I would get it done quick.

I did check into it, DegreeWorks just sucks and they are telling all seniors to disregard it. It's messed up on everyone. Sometimes not even listing peoples' majors.

I think I f-ed up half of my counts today because they taught us something different. YAY write ups! but on the other hand I am way past the point of caring. sad huh?

Took a point and came home today. Not only sick but this morning at work Aunt Flow had to show up. Went to amcare (our med facility on site) to get checked out. Vitals were all good except a low temperature. Low being 93.8 F. Cramps, dizziness, shakes, and I was freezing on our hottest floor of the building. I stayed for a full hour before calling it quits... it just pisses me off. Even though I feel like shit, it still makes me feel like a quiter. Like I have to be sorry for leaving work. I have to go back in tomorrow or friday to do overtime anyways and I was hoping to stay all day. Now I wont even be paid for over time. I hate being sick and I hate being so nice that I feel bad for leaving because Im sick.

Tina, if it makes you feel any better I skipped my night class tonight even though I should've probably went. Can't say I feel bad about it though.

Tina, I totally understand where you're coming from. I have an over developed sense of loyalty/duty when it comes to most things, jobs included. So, even like with this current job, where they are giving me the run around, bold face lying to my face, I still have never been late, never missed a day, and continue to process diapers, and run tests easily twice as fast as my co-workers, and they keep giving me the run around.

I'm the same way, too. The one day I have missed at the paper due to illness, and I sent them an email asking them to send some work to me so I could work from home. I really don't like missing work just because I feel like I'm responsible. I hope you're feeling better, Tina.

I think most people do that. I don't do it for missing classes, but I don't like to let anyone down even if they aren't someone that I'm really close to.

People only post in the Doctor Who thread now, the one thread that I have absolutely no interest in, that is what makes me rage.

When applying for a job with the DEA, you have to go into their own little separate "Application manager" website/system. When filling out the application/questionnaire to determine your eligibility, you have to provide a "Narrative Response" to every multiple choice question, and so once it takes me like 45 minutes to get through one page of questions. When I'm done I hit "Save and continue" to move onto the next page of questions, only to have "save and continue" apparently mean "log me out and kick me to the front page of the application manager without saving any of my answers." That's cool. I didn't want their stupid job anyway.

Brandy just got a pay cut at ACS. They say the pay is based on certain scales and such, but when one of those scales was not achieved by ANYONE IN THE CALL CENTER, then that's a pay cut, my friend. It was something they called "Wow Calls", where your call handled so well that they consider it a "Wow call". That is honestly the best explaination ACS could give as to what a "Wow call" is.

And our good pal Jerry got hit, too. For the "Wow calls". When he doesn't take calls. That sounds like something he sould take up to HR, but we'll see. Your pay shouldn't be based on a scale that does not reflect the actual work you do.

So basically, Brandy is getting $100 less each paycheck. I guess it's back to the job hunt for me, because we can't live on this.

"Wow Calls" sounds more like "Bullshit we made up so we can pay everyone less money because we are greedy corporate bastards."

Well, turns out I overreacted to the pay cut thing. It still happened, but not nearly as bad as I thought. I forgot Brandy missed a day recently, which explains the low paycheck. But it still went down to $10/hr, and Jerry was still affected by a scale that isn't acurate for the job he has.

But Brandy and I will be just fine.

So Brandy and I watched Paper Heart the other day which had Michael Cera in it (inb4 What the hell were you thinking?!). We wanted to watch it because of the star, Charlyne Yi, who we saw on Conan awhile ago, and we thought she was pretty funny. And the movie was great actually, until Michael Cera showed up. It was set up like a documentary about Charlyne's everyday life, as well as a document on what is love. She spoke with a lot of normal people with different stories, and those sections were actually pretty interesting. And she is pretty funny in it, because when the people tell there love stories, she animates them with paper cut-outs. But then Cera shows up as a "love interest". And he was the creepiest boyfriend a girl could have. First date, and you make a joke about the girl not liking you and acting like you're ditching her? Wearing nothing but hoodies like you've been in 4 different cults centered about comets and fruit punch? Being a generally creepy in a "somebody's gonna get raped" way? And he was playing himself!

Brandy can attest, I was raging. If you want to hate Cera even more than before, this is the movie to do it. It almost makes me not want to see Scott Pilgrim, but the director (Edgar Wright) still makes me interested in the movie.

And I think allergies or something is getting me down. I don't have any problems with sinuses or anything, but I feel lazy and depressed like when I have allergies (or when I take medicine for allergies). Just feeling like crap, really.

I really don't understand why anyone likes Michael Cera. Yeah he was great in Arrested Development, but man he sucks in everything else. Also he is at the center of the "look at me I'm artistic! No seriously I am, I play guitar and wear obscure band shirts and everything!" hipster movement.

I hate Michael Cera and Hipsters....

Ugh, why am I suddenly feeling super depressed just hours before I have to make an appearance as Spidey :/ Spidey and Caboose are the two costumes I have to be in a good mood to pull off well, otherwise it's just not fun and not the same, and I'm pretty sure it shows. I need to be able to crack jokes and make small talk as Spidey, and I just can't do that when I'm depressed.

Campus policy for professors to not have assignments due on dead week has not kept three of my professors from assigning something for dead week.

I MAD.

My family... in particular my sister. Why? Not protecting her daughter from the girl's creep of a father. I am so full of pissed off rage and no one will give me a straight answer on this stuff. And I cant just ask my niece about this shit. fuck. If I see that man Im going to punch him.
